“These days it doesn’t seem that the family owned U.S. business is still alive and well in this country, but J&D Manufacturing has built their reputation and history on this and will continue to do so in the future. 

Our company was founded in 1981 by my father, Don Redetzke and by my uncle, Jerry Redetzke. Upon a request from their step-father, the brothers bent a piece of tubing into a cow stall for his dairy barn. The word spread and soon they began taking orders from other farmers.  Jerry left the business early on to pursue his own interest in the racing profession, and my father, now with the help of my mother, Diana, expanded the J & D product line to include stall clamps, barn cleaner chain and ventilation fans. Continuously looking for new products and growth in the market place, my father acquired the assets of Circle B, a misting and cooling company located in California. A few years later, we purchased Pruden Ventilation, a ventilation company focused on the hog industry in Willmar, Minnesota. 

Over the years, we have expanded into other markets. J&D Manufacturing is now a well-known name in the agricultural, horticultural and industrial/commercial markets. Our headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and filled with state of the art laser, press brake and cutting machines, along with a large inventory of materials and products.

In order to carry on the tradition of our company, my husband, Scott and I were elected as Vice President and President in 2004.  We are proud to be able to continue the journey that my father started all of those years ago.”
