The polyethylene design won't pit, crack or deteriorate like concrete waterers, or rust and corrode like steel waterers. The rounded, tapered basins won't collect dirt or manure in corners, making them easy to clean. J&D's waterers feature a stainless steel probe that extends into the water with ground wire to help prevent stray voltage.
